DIY Eye Patch

Since Anime Expo is just a few months away, I decided to start to on one prop to get my butt in motion! Mainly since, I slack off and tend to leave all the cosplay making to the last month.
So to start it off, I decided to make an eye patch for my Kaneki (Tokyo Ghoul) cosplay!

I made a quick video here:

I made this since I didn't want to spend about $14 to have someone else ship me something that is actually quite simple to make. With all my supplies I spent roughly $7.00, the most expensive part was the white thread, and that is only because I had to buy another big spool.

Here are some photos:

For more specifics:
Elastic: 1/4 Knit $2.29
White Thread: $2.37
White Knit Fabric: $2.50
The rest of the supplies I already had at home *~

Also, if you have a Joann or Micheals near you, you can also just get the app on your phone or print the coupons online, because trust me, cosplay is not a cheap hobby and if you can save as much money as you can it is so worth it!
