 Book Review

The Fault In Our Stars: The #1 New York Times bestseller that Time Magazine called “damn near genius,” The Fault in Our Stars is the story of Hazel Lancaster and Augustus Waters, two Indianapolis teenagers who meet at a Cancer Kid Support Group. (via http://johngreenbooks.com)

Where do I even begin with this? I read this book about a month ago & let me tell you something really quick- when I start reading a book written by John Green I find myself immersed in it. There is no option of putting that book down. Anyways, the book follows the life of Hazel, a 16 year old girl and her fight with her illness. She attends the support groups finding herself unattached to it. But one day she meets this guy Augustus Waters. They have this cute banter between one another, and you know you ship them. So hard. We follow these two on their journey, how they don't let their illnesses define who they are & how they deal with obstacles that are placed on their journey. In the end, I think we all need to learn from Hazel Grace & Augustus.

This is the type of book that I recommend to my friends, because they also have to experience this book, these wonderful characters that just end up leaving you attached to them. It is really well written and thought out, I honestly can't describe how good this book is until you experience it for yourself! It will be a book that you will not forget & that you will find yourself thinking about it from time to time. John Green is a writer that you will remember & want to continue reading his books.
